Grinch Socks Really
One fast-food chain recently introduced a meal that included Grinch socks. So many people wanted those socks that many locations sold out across the country. It made me think what if more people started doing that with small businesses that actually support our society. These corporations receive masses of dollars and continue to cut programs like DEI that benefit the disenfranchised of our society.
While anyone has the right to spend their funds in whatever they choose, it seems that it would be more beneficial not to fund oppression.
If you are looking for ways to make a difference, consider these worthwhile causes.

Domestic Violence Prevention
One in three women experiences domestic violence. Unfortunately for Black women, it’s 45% . This epidemic plaguing the Black community must be eradicated. One of the ways that I have decided to become proactive about eradicating this epidemic is through gifting the Love Letters to My Girls book to young ladies attending HBCUs. The book is designed to increase self-love for a Black woman. Your purchase of the book makes it possible to gift a copy to a young lady.
The book is available at https://linktr.ee/healercassandra. If your brand is interested in becoming a sponsor of this initiative, visit https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pCDqW-z2qltlG_cRCLHMIZRJRlq0q1SjLv4HyXSH8o0/edit?usp=sharing.
Wrap-Up
